Billing questions
How does the free trial work?
The yearly plan starts with one month free. You pay nothing during that month. If you cancel in Settings at least a day before it ends, you pay nothing at all. The monthly plan has no trial.
How do I cancel?
Apple handles your subscription. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Gears. Cancel at least a day before it renews. You can always keep recording runs, and your gears, runs and history stay yours.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something isn't right, tell us too.
Is Gears free?
Partly. Your first coached run is free, whatever run you choose. After it, recording runs stays free for good, with time, distance, pace, heart rate, route and safety alerts, and every run, your gears and your history stay yours to browse. The coach on every run comes with Gears Plus.
Do prices differ by country?
Yes. Prices here are in US dollars. The App Store shows the price in your country, including any local taxes, before you confirm.
Will you remind me before the trial ends?
Gears doesn't send trial reminders. You can see the date your trial ends in Settings, under Subscriptions, and cancel there any time before it.
